Pediatric Occupational Therapist & Recreational Therapist

Ellen is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Prior to her OT education, Ellen worked as a Recreational Therapist.

Ellen then began her career with Easterseals in the Senior Services department as a Program Specialist.

After working with Adaptive Pediatric Therapy, Ellen has discovered a passion for working with children and their families.

Ellen loves being in a child’s natural environment and getting to know their strengths, interests and areas for growth.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Cassie graduated from The University of New Hampshire combined bachelor’s/master’s program for occupational therapy. Prior to joining the APT team, Cassie was an occupational therapist with adults at a skilled nursing facility.

She has transitioned to work with the APT team to fulfill her passion for working with children and the pediatric population. Cassie loves being able to connect with children and their families in their natural environments while helping them progress toward their most important goals.

Cassie is a dog mom to a corgi puppy, Ollie, and loves to spend her free time playing and walking her. She also loves to go to the beach, watch football on Sundays, and travel to various places around the country and the world!

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Mariah graduated from Misericordia University in 2018 with her masters degree in occupational therapy. She has pediatric experience in early intervention, school-based, and outpatient settings. She has appreciated the unique opportunity to form, relationships with children and families in their natural environments. Her areas of interest include feeding, reflex integration, and nature-based therapy.

Mariah is from New Jersey and has moved to the seacoast area. She loves to go camping and spend time outside with her husband Matt and dog Archie.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Lactation Consultant

Michelle has been practicing as an occupational therapist since 2009 with experience across the lifespan however now focuses on infant feeding with particular interest in providing lactation-informed care to families.

She is a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and will be sitting for the fall exam to become a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in hopes of bringing more quality and evidenced-based lactation care to families in the seacoast and surrounding areas.

Michelle meets families where they are at and empowers them with the knowledge and skills necessary to create nurturing environments for their littles ones.

Michelle lives in the seacoast with her husband and two young sons.

Intern

Bailey is currently pursuing a clinical doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of New Hampshire. She is treasurer of the Student Occupational Therapy Association as well as a member of the New Hampshire Outing Club and Alphi Phi Omega, the community service fraternity, at UNH. Bailey currently works part time at a child care center with children who are 3 months to 5 years old. She loves working with kids and aspires to be a pediatric therapist. She is interested in exploring the NICU, pediatric outpatient, and pediatric inpatient settings. Bailey is excited to learn more about pediatric occupational therapy and infant feeding at Adaptive Pediatric Therapy.

Bailey is from Southern New Hampshire and enjoys hiking, skiing and reading. She is currently working on hiking all 4000 footers in New Hampshire.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist

My name is Brianna and I graduated from the University of New Hampshire combined bachelor’s/master’s program for occupational therapy. Prior to APT I’ve been working with kids birth to three in early intervention.

I’m looking forward to joining the baby team at APT to pursue my interests in feeding and outpatient therapy. I have always worked with kids and I am looking forward to getting to know more families and working with kiddos of all ages.

Speech-language Pathologist

Taylor is a lifelong resident of New Hampshire who graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of New Hampshire and went on to receive her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at UNH as well. She has worked in a variety of settings over the last 16 years and has a recent clinical passion for working with infants and young children, especially those with multiple comorbidities and medical needs. Taylor was inspired to transition to this population when she became a mother to a child with a rare disease. She enjoys treating feeding and swallowing disorders, motor speech sound disorders and autistic children but enjoys all aspects of the field of speech therapy! Taylor is a strong proponent of AAC and passionate about honoring all forms of communication!

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children skiing or at the beach. Taylor also serves on the Board of Directors for a rare disease non-profit organization. She has a passion for helping young families navigate transitions from early childhood into the public school system, advocacy and navigating the health care system for children with multiple medical needs.

Speech-language Pathologist

Grace’s areas of interest within Speech and Language Pathology include: social language, language delay, feeding difficulties, articulation, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She have worked with the pediatric population in public schools, private practices, preschools centers, and early intervention. She is trained in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding which focuses on increasing a child’s comfort level by exploring and learning about the different properties of food, allowing a child to interact with food in a playful, non-stressful way.

She have been able to live in many different areas of the country including Connecticut, upstate New York, Chicago, Arkansas, Boston, and now New Hampshire. She recently moved to the Seacoast area where She live with her husband and our dog, Crunch.

Craniosacral therapist and Massage Therapist

Meet Ellie, a nationally certified orthopedic massage therapist with a passion for helping babies and children thrive. She lovingly refers to herself as 'The Grandma of Massage' and has spent many years honing her skillset. Using a blend of techniques including craniosacral therapy, therapeutic touch, vagus nerve stimulation, and soft tissue work, Ellie specializes in easing tightness, tension, and mobility difficulties in young ones. From babies with feeding challenges to neurodivergent children, Ellie enjoys working closely with families and our therapy team to tailor individualized treatment plans that provide lasting results.

Ellie shares her home with her loyal furry companion, Dulin in York, Maine. With a background rooted in sports medicine rehabilitation, Ellie brings a unique perspective to her practice, integrating effective Eastern and Western approaches to support the body's natural healing process. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Education and has honed her skills across various settings in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. Ellie is also a lifelong learner and is eager to continue to learn and grow alongside our multidisciplinary team. She has the biggest heart and is truly so grateful for the opportunity to help families and their kiddos.

Mia Colleen Agtual

Mia has been part of our team since August 2021. As the Office Manager, Mia goes beyond the conventional, providing guidance for new clients, answering queries about accounts and office procedures, and ensuring a seamless experience for all.

Emphasizing privacy and confidentiality, Mia takes pride in upholding the highest standards, valuing the importance of HIPAA in our daily operations.

Mia's introverted nature brings a subtle touch to her role, allowing her to navigate the intricacies of office management with calm efficiency. Beyond her professional commitments, she finds solace by the beach, lost in the pages of a good book, or cherishing quality moments with her husband.
